It is an old icelandic sigil for protection and finding your way through rough weather. In the Huld Manuscript where this symbol is described, it says “If this sign is carried, one will never lose one’s way in storms or bad weather, even when the way is not known.”All CelticKnotWorks pieces are proudly handcrafted in the USA.
