Description BV-OSC Vitamin C BV-OSC is an active form of Vitamin C which improves collagen synthesis. While ascorbic acid is considered superior by many chemists, a major drawback is that it can be irritating and is very volatile in personal care formulations. This is why we chose this, much more stable form of Vitamin C which is easier to formulate into skincare and personal care products.BV-OSC is oil soluble. Some of its benefits include antioxidant activity. It has higher bio-availability than ascorbic acid, which allows use of a stable product at lower levels while producing greater improvements in hydration and superficial wrinkle smoothing. BV-OSC comes in a clear colorless liquid form.Can be used In skincare products including skin lighteners, antioxidant formulations and facial gel formulas. This is a light yellow liquid with a faint characteristic odor which may alter the color and smell of the original product, something worth paying attention to during testing. Usage Follow these simple instructions for best results:For Skincare - from 0.1 to 10%For Haircare - from 0.1 to 10%For Soaps - from 0.1 to 5% Additional Notes These are only suggested usage rates. Each formulation is different and you must test in small batches to find the percentages that work best for you. Always start by mixing in a low percentage, then gradually add until you reach your desired result.
