Description RM-2051 Thickening Agent A favorite among cosmetic chemists for thickening lotion formulations, RM-2051 Thickening Agent is a stable thickener-emulsifier used to increase the viscosity of lotions without having to use heat. The emulsion contains two surfactants, a silicone emulsifier (PEG/PPG-18/18 Dimethicone) to stabilize and an inverting agent (Trideceth-6) that helps to bring the polymer into contact with the aqueous phase of the formulation. Additional Notes These are only suggested usage rates. Each formulation is different and you must test in small batches to find the percentages that work best for you.
