Description Carburetor Adapter – 4 BBL – Carter Thermo-Quad – 1971-79 – USED / AFTERMARKET Fits 1971-79 Carter 4 barrel Thermo Quad carburetor applications. This is an aftermarket MR Gasket brand,catalog# 1932 solid aluminum adapter that mounts the T-Q carb to an older square bore intake manifold. It can be used with either aluminum or iron intakes,factory and aftermarket,small and big block engines. It has the dual mounting hole provisions for both the Carter AFB, AVS,and Holley style bolt pattern mounts. This will add approx. 3/4″ to the installed carb height. It provides adequate clearance for the primary and secondary throttle vales to open and close without binding. Good used condition,no cracks or damage.
