This is a factory original cast iron 90 degree oil filter adapter, it includes the cast iron housing base, bolt (screw) and threaded filter adapter. Good condition, it has casting# 2780998, and a date of 1-7. The casting reads U1 -7; January 1967. This is used to provide clearance and angle the oil filter away from exhaust manifold and pipe. Adapter can also be used on multiple body and small block engine combinations to accommodate for exhaust manifold / header modifications. This unit has a tilted filter angle, the early version is a straight angle. 10-26-12.
