Description Automatic Trans Case Extension# 2466969 – 727 – A – B – C – E – Body – 1966-72 – NOS Fits all 1966-72 automatic Torqueflite transmission A727A model applications. Fits all Dodge, Plymouth, Chrysler A, B, C, E body models with all small and big block engines used with the 727 Torqueflite trans; 225, 318, 340-4, 340-6, 360, 383, 400, 440-4, 440-6, 426 Hemi. Use on models up to approx. January 7th,1972. This is the transmission case extension / tail shaft housing,it is aluminum,and fits small and big block applications,including heavy duty 6 cylinder models. Casting# 2466901. It has a 1965 casting date,which is common,as many were cast at the same time. The exterior of the housing is in excellent condition,it is not cracked or pitted,no damage from years of use and retains a natural appearance and texture,it has not been stripped,sanded,bead blasted,or painted. All the threaded holes are excellent,not stripped. Housing has correct cast in flange area for floor mounted shift linkage lower bracket. This would be an excellent item for completing a detailed trans. It is a complete assembly,and includes the bearing snap ring,cover,gasket,and the 2 mounting screws,rear bushing,spring,shaft,and sprag for parking lock rod. 21-04-1.
