And, let’s be honest, because they look awesome.The Celtic Owl was a request from several different people, and I was immediately intrigued by the idea.    The features of an owl are very distinct. Owls are a wonderful contradiction of being round and soft at the same time as being one of the greatest nighttime hunters around.  In my owl design, I’ve worked sharp angles into the rounded exterior to represent this contrast. The owl came together very quickly, as if it was waiting to be. The Celtic Owl is a symbol of swiftness and clear vision.All Celtic Knot Works pieces are proudly handcrafted in the USA.
